Horizontal Cladding consists of trimmed slate “shingles” of a minimal thickness with minimal overlap offering a very economical solution in regards to wall covering that is very straightforward and easy to install.
This type of coverage is laid with rectangular slates horizontally in a half bond manner. The only overlap is minimally vertically in height and does not overlap left to right.
Slates are fastened with special hooks fixed to horizontal battens.
This innovative and simple fastening method in combination with traditional slate laying techniques, results in a very modern appearance with the benefit of being extremely cost-effective.
INSTALLATION & APPLICATION

This horizontal form of coverage is laid with rectangular slates in a half bond manner. Slates overlap minimally only in height and are installed with special hooks.
Mounting:
For each slate, 2 special hooks are mounted to battens for easy installation. This system allows slates to be easily replaced as well should anything happen to an individual slate.
